MoSR Youth Group members led a STEM session as part of the Falkirk Council’s annual ‘Step Back Into Science’ festival.

MoSR Youth Group members Luke and Sam headed to historic Kinneil House over the May bank holiday to deliver an interactive session on steam traction and bridge building as part of Falkirk Council’s annual ‘Step Back Into Science’ celebrations.

The event, which is part of the Falkirk Science Festival, invites curious minds to take a creative journey through time, explore groundbreaking discoveries, discover the stories of legendary scientists, and engage with the innovations that continue to shape our world.

Over 50 families from across the region tried their hand at bridge building and came up with some impressive and well thought through designs.

This popular event is part of the museum’s ‘Learning in the Community’ programme.
